Silk Road
From 5 to 28 April 2019 an interactive exhibition “Zhibek Jolu” (Silk Road) for children and their parents is held by Roza Otunbaeva’s INITIATIVE fund at the G. Aytiev - Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts, Bishkek. The exhibitors are Kyrgyzstan and the embassies of the countries located along the Great Silk Road, which connected East and West through trade, cultural, scientific, religious and other exchanges during a long period of history. The embassies of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, China, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, South Korea and Japan take part in the exhibition. Pakistan is presented by International School of Medicine. During these days the visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture, traditions and interesting facts from the life of the participating countries, and each country will have its own national day. 20th of April is a day of Pakistan.


The Ex-president of Kyrgyz Republic, the founder of the International Public Fund of R.I. Otunbayeva, the Minister of Culture, information and tourism A.K. Zhamankulov, the secretary of state of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs A.T. Omokeev, ambassadors and representatives of the international and public organizations and other dear guests, children of Bishkek and their parents participated in the opening ceremony of an exhibition.



Students of our university take active part in public life and prepared the stand representing Pakistan which was awarded special attention and is highly estimated by the ex-president of the Kyrgyz republic - Roza Otunbayeva. She noted that our stand well-presented Pakistan, showing it from different sides and noticed that we showed surprising modern Pakistan.


Our stand contained information on historical sights of Pakistan, such as Lahore Fort, a landmark built during the Mughal era, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Rokhtas — the Panjabi fort built by Cher shah in 1541-43 in close proximity to the Great wheel road for defense of the earth of gavar against Humayun; Minar-e-Pakistan is a national monument marking Pakistan's independence movement, Mazar-e-Quaid also known as the Jinnah Mausoleum or the National Mausoleum, is the final resting place of Quaid-e-Azam ("Great Leader") Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan and other historic places of Pakistan.





Also our stand contained information on national dishes, national clothes, the nature and holidays of Pakistan.





Our students presented an information  about progress of the country in military mechanical engineering and other fields of the industry, having shown Pakistan as the modern successful country.
Many people have already visited this exhibition and the visitors number is increases day by day. We advise also you to see this awesome exhibition and not to miss your chance to learn more about the culture and other sides of the countries of a great Silk Way.
